Materials and Geotechnical Engineering Division provides the following services:
i) Geotechnical and materials investigations for civil engineering infrastructure projects.
ii) Basic knowledge transfer of geotechnical engineering and laboratory testing procedures as well as exploration and investigation of soils and materials for road construction and mapping of suitable materials sources.
iii) Geotechnical and materials investigations for road feasibility and detailed engineering design of major road and bridge projects.
iv) Road condition surveys.
v) Structural evaluation of road pavements.
vi) Laboratory testing, quality control and quality assurance of dam construction projects.
