PEC, as part of the SSF JV, is leading stakeholder engagements to support the Contractor, Yapi Merkezi, in delivering Limited Notice to Proceed activities for the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) Eastern Route. These engagements are an important step in preparing for construction and mark significant progress towards the revival of railway transport in Uganda.
In line with our core value of placing stakeholders at the centre of project delivery, PEC is working closely with communities, local authorities, and industry partners along the proposed corridor to align objectives, address concerns, and ensure smooth project mobilisation and implementation.
The SGR Eastern Route will enhance regional connectivity, improve transport efficiency, and stimulate economic growth. PEC is proud to lead these early-stage activities and contribute to the construction supervision of this landmark infrastructure project.
