Eng. Valentine Mwase Byansi | Founding Managing Director

Eng. Valentine Mwase Byansi, the founding Managing Director of PEC and one of the seven shareholders in the Company, is a member of the Uganda Institution of Professional Engineers and a Registered Engineer with the Engineers Registration Board of Uganda, with over 40 years of professional civil engineering experience. During his over 40 years of civil engineering consultancy practice, Eng. Mwase has not only been involved in the management of one of the first civil engineering consultancies in the country (Associated Consulting Engineers), but has been actively involved in project implementation, rising to the level of Project Director on a multitude of civil engineering infrastructure design and construction supervision projects in water supply, roads and building sub sectors.
Eng. Mwase’s key experience includes the following among others:
-Management of civil engineering consultancies.
-Feasibility study, design and construction supervision of road infrastructure projects.
-Feasibility study, design and construction supervision of water supply projects.
-Feasibility study, design and construction supervision of building infrastructure projects.
-Feasibility study, design and construction supervision of ferry landing infrastructure projects.
Eng. Mwase retired as Managing Director at end of 2014 but he remains a useful resource for the firm, as part time consultant whenever his expertise is needed.
