The project involves feasibility study, preliminary and detailed engineering design for the upgrading of the project road, including ESIA, RAP, cost estimation, and economic appraisal. The project road traverses a rolling to hilly terrain and characterised by sharp horizontal and vertical curves. The road also crosses a number of swamps.
