Rehabilitation of the Kampala – Malaba Meter Gauge Railway (MGR) Line (234 Km), Including Jinja Pier Line (3.2 Km), Jinja Pier Yard (0.5 Km), Crossing Lines (8 Km), and Naigombwa Swamp Drainage Improvement (Box Culverts)

The project involved renewal of the meter gauge track, including re-laying of rails, replacing damaged ties, and adding and compacting ballast. The project also involved the inspection and rehabilitation of critical bridges, culverts, and strengthening of embankments in selected sections to enhance structural integrity and safety.
